Live music would not be alive without great music venues around the country! Rickhouse Booking not only has experience managing the music programming at a great venue, but was hired on at the very beginning of the business ... so we know how to get creative on a tight budget! Rickhouse Booking developed and grew the music programming to involve live music 5 nights a week! Over the course of 4 years, this venue developed a reputation for hosting great live music nearly every night of the week! There's few things more rewarding that "discovering" new artists, and watching them build a fanbase from visiting the venue.
One aspect of Rickhouse Booking that sets us apart from most booking companies is our in-depth work in the non-profit world. Before he created Rickhouse Booking, Brian Bucher established a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization called Adyn's Dream. Adyn's Dream worked to raise money for individuals and families living with the same genetic disease as his son was born with - Spinal Muscular Atrophy. A fundamental aspect of Adyn's Dream was to incorporate their love of live music in the method of raising money. So literally starting with zero money, Adyn's Dream became known as both an organization that provided much needed support to individuals who needed it (raising over $100,000 in just 6 years), but also developed a reputation of hosting incredible live music in their fundraisers. This knowledge of both booking, but also working with sponsors & organizing full events are all skills / knowledge that Brian brings to Rickhouse Booking!
